Advertising Policy

It has taken (and continues to take!) a lot of time to develop shoulder-pain-explained.com, keep it up to date and deliver high quality, relevant information. I want the information provided to be freely available to everyone, so there is no charge for using the site.

In order to continue running the site and provide you with great information, shoulder-pain-explained.com accepts banner advertising through mediavine.com.  Any ads that you see are generated through them, not shoulder-pain-explained.com.

All ads are clearly identifiable with the label "advertisement" prior to the advert and a link to "Mediavine" and a link to "Report this ad" displayed underneath every advertisement.

There are two types of advertising that you may see: context based ads (related to the topic of the page you are reading) and personalized advertising (related to your interests and demographics).

Advertisements on shoulder-pain-explained.com link to other websites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the information provided by any external sites you visit via advertisements from our site.  External sites are not governed by our advertising or privacy statement. Always exercise caution by reviewing the terms and conditions and privacy statements of any external website visited before continuing to use it.

Affiliate Partnerships

Shoulder-Pain-Explained is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, or the relevant Amazon store for where you live.

Let me explain how this works.  Shoulder-pain-explained.com does not directly sell any products.  We do however review high quality, relevant products that can help with treating knee pain.  Links from these product pages take you directly through to your local Amazon store.  If you then go on to make a purchase, I receive a small commission from qualifying purchases.  Rest assured that this payment comes from Amazon, not from you - you do not pay any extra because you have used one of our links, the price is the same as if you went directly to Amazon.

The product reviews are intended as a guide. I only review reputable brands that are known to provide high quality products.  The compensation earned through commission does not influence the information on this site.  None of the products we recommend are sponsored by manufacturers.

Shoulder-pain-explained.com is entirely self-funded through our trading company Wilson Health Ltd, run by our creator, Chloe Wilson. No external funding or sponsorship is received.

If you do not agree to the shoulder-pain-explained.com advertising policy as posted here on this website, please do not use this site or any services offered by this site.  Your use of this site indicates acceptance of this advertising policy.

You can find out more about about how advertising works, including the use of cookies, in our privacy policy.
